🚨Major Regulatory Change Coming to the UK Waste Industry 🚨

From October 2026, DEFRA will launch the Digital Waste Tracking Service (DWTS) - one of the biggest updates to waste regulation in decades.

For the first time, all Waste Receivers will be legally required to record and report every waste movement digitally, creating a single, unified system across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

This new platform will:

📊 Reduce misreporting

🛑 Tackle illegal dumping

🌍 Support the UK’s sustainability goals

🔍 Provide real-time insight into where waste comes from, where it goes, and how it’s treated

The Bizerba GLPmaxx Manual Labeller can be used as a label printer for product labeling in the food processing industry as well as in manufacturing trade and logistics.
