Smart handling starts with applying the right amount of pressure.

The KAUP Smart Load Control appliance clamp is designed to automatically regulate clamping force according to the weight of the load, rather than relying on the operator to select the pressure.

As the load is lifted, the system automatically adjusts the pressure until the load is securely held, applying only the force that is actually required. This helps reduce the risk of product damage while taking manual pressure selection out of the operator’s hands.

🚢 Delivering safer pipe handling

B&B Attachments recently worked with Associated British Ports (ABP) to provide a vacuum lifting solution for the safe discharge, transportation and storage of large-diameter water pipes.

Using specialist vacuum lifting systems fitted to both a dock crane and reach stacker, ABP can safely handle up to three 14-metre pipes at a time, improving efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards throughout the operation.
