Managed to get the windows collected today and fitted when we got back.

This was a huge step forward on this wee job for us as it now wind and watertight. And ready for plasterer inside now.

We can also crack on with the cladding once it’s ready also.

Recently carried out this bathroom with Scott Macdonald plumbing.

Everything was removed and all first fix plumbing carried out.
Next was to fit the new shower try this was replacing the bath.
Then fitting fibo well panelling on all walls with required trims.
Loose lay flooring was then laid.
Scott then fitted everything out. And we had the fun bit of getting that big brute of a screen up the spiral staircase.
All sealed up,tided up and all rubbish removed.

Wee throwback to this flat roof renewal.

The existing felt had blown off in the winds so wanted covered it with polythene until materials arrived.

Replacing the deck with sterling board and fitting new epdm rubber membrane instead of the defective felt.

We recently completed this job in Dunoon with this interior door being moved at the customers request to suit their needs kitchen layout.

First we had to take the current door off and evaluate the area of the new door position and get to work on that.

Removed base unit and cut back worktop to allow movement of the door.

The wall was burst through and door frame was assembled.

We then put in the studs for where the door was originally.

The whole area was then sheeted, ready for plastering whilst the door was now in a new position for the customer with facings around door to be carried out once new plasterboard is plastered.

We were up helping my big Pal Ross out on Saturday get his extension up and watertight.

Around two years ago we gave him a hand with the first extension.

In this clip here you can see us fitting the wall plates with pdc, fitting ring binders around the perimeter and infilling the joists.

NO SUNDAYS OFF!

As we gear up for our move from Dunoon to Ayrshire we have had a very productive Sunday with the wee one!

Just because business still needs taken care of doesn’t mean family should be forgotten about. Here at Sinclair Joinery & Construction we are all about family time even if it means bringing them along for a few hours to get the work done!

We have recently completed this media wall in inverkip
We build this completely from scratch.
Building the frame work, sheeting and plastering, installing the fireplace to round it all off.

Today we started off the week with some ceiling sheeting and wall strapping on a job we are currently on in Dunoon!

The electricians have been in and done what they had to do which then allowed us to continue with our work of sheeting the ceiling and then building some framework for the walls and strapping them.

This is a continuous project that we are delighted to be a part of and will have more content from this job to come!

We are currently on a window fitting job in Dunoon.

There is a total of 7 windows to be ripped out and replaced by us at Sinclair Joinery & Construction.

On this particular job we had david and Jamie replace the defective lintels above the windows. And now the windows are in we have fr plasters there rendering the external face of the building.

There are many benefits to getting new windows such as different type of glazed windows might be an upgrade to what you have at the moment. New windows can help keep heat in and cold out too!
