What a few months it’s been!

🚛 Transformation Tuesday 🚛

Last we we had this iveco lorry cab for major repairs to both rear floors inner and outer step and cab.

We had to strip the inside of the cab (whilst doing this Tom fabricated a winch roller bracket and welded on some lashing eye)

Once all stripped all rusty metal was cut out and new floors re fabricated.

This was one of the worse cabs we’ve seen in a while. Always remember to jet wash and clean cabs properly!!

Crusty Caddy!

This week we’ve had 2 vw caddy pick ups from the same person.

One needed both rear shock mounts and rear turret repairs.
Both needed inner wing repairs.

Both needed inner and outer sill repairs (which I forgot to get pictures due to flat out!)

The customer has us coming back for more work.

BONGO BONGO BONGO 🚐

Mazda bongo in for inner and outer sill work.

Trying to beat the heat this week but quite a lot of odd jobs here and there.

Sometimes it’s not always a big job but still time consuming.

💥 WELD IT IN WATFORD WEDNESDAY. 💥

Yesterday we went to Watford for a return customer.
This time for a mk1 vw golf convertible.

Once we got digging it ended up spreading much worse than planned but luckily the customer had everything covered and all panels just in case.

All rust cut out. Inner and outer panels in areas some had to be fabricated from scratch.

All ready for a skim as off the paint shop in the coming week.

🔥 🔥 FIRE FIRE FIRE 🔥 🔥

Yesterday me and Tom went out to this old dodge fire truck. 🚒

The customer wanted a rectangular hatch cut out and a lid made. (We used the original cut out addding a 30mm fl**ge and a eyelet for a handle)

They was experiencing water loss from a split in the seam of the water tank! 💦

I had to get inside the tank, grind up the seam and then weld 30” of the seam with a triple weld.

No matter what the job, we always get stuck in. Quiet literally!!

‼️HANDRAIL HANDRAIL HANDRAIL‼️

Over the last couple weeks we’ve designed, fabricated, had powder coated and now fitted this stair handrail for Bedes school. 🏫

The old handrail was rusty and not exceeding requirements.
We’ve changed the design slightly to suit the steps.✅

We are very happy with how this has came out! ✅

Me and Tom are very busy with all types of welding and fabrication. 👨‍🏭

DAF DUTIES! 📦

Another daf lf cab in this week. This time for a family run removal company in Brighton. 🚛

This is one of the worse ones weve had with inner and outer arch falling apart along with floor and step. ⚡️

All cut out and new 1mm fully fabricated to shape in its place.
All new riv nuts in place for new m8 bolts to hold step and arch on. 🔩

Rear alloy light bar ground out and welded up with alloy mig. 👨‍🏭

Seam seal with a shutz finish. 🎨
