Whilst I’m away on holiday Tom has been holding fort back home!

Been out and about doing mobile welding, even a trip to Oxford in the van to repair an ambulance.

But as ever he’s busy making more banger kits. This time a cradle and mounts for a 2.3 in a v8 jag shell.

Will be pictures of bmw kit coming in the next couple of weeks.

LOCKER BOX FABRICATION!

Toms been very busy today fabricating and fitting a custom locker box for the front of this trailer.

The box was made to a customers measurements, to take his chains and tie downs.

The box itself is made from 3mm mild steel with a 1” box section frame around the top for the lid to shut down too and lock up when not using.

2 x heavy duty stainless hinges supplied too.

Fully seam welded to the front of this trailer to tow behind a tractor.

This morning I went to a property in Poole along side a lock smith company to put these heavy duty hasp and stable locks on a roller shutter door.

3mm plate welded to the door, which allowed a better mounting point to weld the hasp on.

Galvanised spray to finish it off.

🚫BROKEN ESTATE FENCING?! 🚫

We’ve got you covered. ✅

Over the last week we’ve been working at Sheffield park gardens repairing some of the 1600m of estate fencing they have. 🪴

We’ve been working alongside SJ Fencing who’s been digging out the broken posts, and re concreting and leveling in the new fabricated ones. 🪏

Me and Tom spent a couple of days in the workshop drilling and plasma cutting 70 1.8m posts. ⚡️

During the process of cutting posts out we had to repair top rails and middle rails due to damage from tractors when cutting the grass 🚜

All finished with a cost of black hammerite.

MADNESS MONDAY!

Today we had this fiat camper van in for lots of front end corrosion.

Both steps, inner, and outer sills, inner wheel arch, chassis etc all needed attention.

All rusty materials cut out and ground back. New material cut and folded for inner and outer sills,

Once these have been welded on we then went on to make the outer step skin underneath.

Inner wings all re fabricated where needed, and completely stone chipped underneath front to back chassis and inner wings.

Awaiting for a new front crossemember to arrive, replace that then fully ready for a mot.

☀️ Too hot Tuesday ☀️

Today we went to Watford to repair this scirocco

We was given some panels, cuts from another car and other vw panels due to how hard these panels are to get.

All rust was cut out, welded with 1.2mm mild steel and 1.2mm galv (patten panels).

Once every welded, cleaned up for a flat finish ready for when they get the car painted. Left in a red oxide primer as customer asked.

Underside welds shutz finished as asked by the customer.

Another very happy customer and has already booked in for more work and there friends booked in for work.

Currently big jobs are booking in July now.

I have been made aware of a post circulating about my welding work. Stating about “dangerous welding services”

I take safety and workmanship seriously and stand by my work. I have never had any customer safety issues raised with me, and any concerns from customers are always addressed professionally.

The statements being made about my qualifications, insurance, and the safety of my work are inaccurate and damaging to my business.

I welcome genuine customers inspecting my previous work and speaking to past clients directly before making decisions.

I will not engage in online arguments, but I am keeping records of false statements being published about my business.

Last week had this transit in for some mot repairs.

Rear drivers still needed cutting out and re making, the rear quarter and inner sill needed attention.

Patches on the chassis cut out and new 3mm plate welded back over.

Tank dropped out and an angled section welded in full length of the chassis where the tank goes.

All seam sealed and black shutzed.

🐴 HORSE BOX RAMP REPAIR. 🐴

On Wednesday me and Tom went to repair this broken crossmember on the back of this horse box. 🚛

The crossmember had 2 x welded brackets for the loading ramp springs. 💥

The crossmember was 100x50 3mm box, but we decided to replace this with 2 x 100x50 6mm box,

This wasn’t the easiest job, with not much space but with using the plasma to cut old out made life much easier. ⚡️

Yesterday was a day of transits!

3 transits in a day!

This was the first of the 3, this needed both inner arch to Repairs, step repair and round by the strut tops.

Now theres 2 of us on the jobs we are managing to get things done quicker and round to more customers in the day.
