From rip-out to reality 🔨➡️🚿

A few weeks ago this bathroom was completely stripped back to the bare bones… and now look at it! 😍

New floor, tiles, shower, toilet and basin — a complete transformation in a seriously tight space.

Another bathroom brought back to life by the team at New Life! 💪

🚨 WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW HOUSE… THEN THIS HAPPENED! 🏠🔨

Craig, his wife & 2 kids have just moved into their new home…

Only problem? 😅

It needed a SERIOUS New Life.

So, while still keeping up with our other jobs, the team absolutely went for it this week 💪🔥

And this is what we’ve managed to get through already:

⚡ FULL REWIRE
🔧 BOILER RELOCATED
🛏️ 2 BEDROOMS STRIPPED
🪵 NEW FLOORING, SKIRTING & FACINGS
🚿 ENSUITE ADDED
🍽️ KITCHEN COMPLETELY RIPPED OUT

All while juggling our normal workload!

The team have been non-stop, and honestly, the amount of graft that’s gone in this week has been unreal. 👏

Massive thanks to everyone involved — this is what happens when you’ve got a good team behind you. ❤️

And we’re only getting started…

Something new is coming to New Life Group!

We’ve been working on something that we hope will make the renovation period easier, more comfortable and much less disruptive — especially when you have kids, pets, work and normal life still going on around you.

Introducing the New Life Kitchen Pod.

Essentially, it will be a fully equipped, mobile temporary kitchen trailer that can be parked right in your driveway while your home kitchen is being renovated.

No makeshift kitchen.
No living off the microwave.
No relying on takeaways every night.
No washing dishes in the bathroom. 🤣

Just a proper kitchen, right outside your door, allowing you to cook, eat, make packed lunches, have your morning coffee and keep some normality while the work goes on.

Because renovating your kitchen is exciting… but living without one for weeks isn't!

Designed to maintain normality.

The pod has been fully stripped and will be kitted out shortly.

At New Life Group, we’re proud to support one of our team members who has started a petition calling for change to CAMHS waiting times.

After a family member spent four years waiting for an assessment, with little support or communication along the way, they decided enough was enough.

The petition, PE2231: CAMHS Staff Need Resources, Children Need Assessments, calls for better resourcing, transparent waiting-time data and maximum waiting-time standards for ADHD and autism assessments.

The issue has also received national newspaper coverage, highlighting the reality faced by many families across Scotland.
