From tired and weathered to clean and fully renewed. 🏠

This garage roof was stripped back and rebuilt with a new flat roofing system, giving it a fresh finish and helping protect the space for years to come.

A great example of how the right roofing work can completely transform an overlooked part of a property.

The kitchen in this one had a dark corner with no way of getting daylight into it, so we fitted two sun tunnels to bring natural light straight down into the space.

Big difference for very little disruption inside.

While we were up there we also carried out a Velux window replacement, all worked back into the existing Norwegian Rouge slate roof so the finish sits right and there's nothing to give it away from the ground.

Neat job, proper materials, and a kitchen that's a lot brighter than it was.

Fatra single ply roof — Edinburgh

This flat roof had failed right through, so there was no patching it. We stripped the old felt, insulation boards and timber deck back to the joists and started again from the ground up.

New build-up:
22mm marine ply deck.
VCL layer.
100mm PIR insulation boards.
Separation felt.
Fatra single ply membrane, fully trimmed out.

Done properly from the deck up, so it's watertight and built to last.

Another one finished and we're delighted with how it turned out.

On this job we carried out a full strip and retile using Rosemary tiles, finished with a dry hip and ridge system for a clean, low-maintenance result that's built to last.

After being let down by a previous roofer, this customer brought in Past & Present Roofing to take over a major roof replacement.

The project involved new tiling, lead work, flat roofing and gutters alongside ongoing coordination with architects and other trades.

That leak that just won’t go away? There’s usually a reason. 🏠

This homeowner in Archerfield had been dealing with a persistent leak that no one had been able to get to the bottom of.

We inspected the roof properly and identified three separate problem areas causing the leaks. Rather than patching one spot and hoping for the best, we fixed everything in one go to make sure nothing was missed.

The result? The leak stopped completely and the customer was so happy she’s already booked in more work for the summer.
