We have been asked for quite a few quotes lately for washing and polishing of customer's caravans.
Some orders we get,..some we don't.
I will explain that in the price you are quoted, I wash the entire caravan, (no pressure washer used) including the roof, under the hatches, inside the front gas locker, etc.
It is not unusual for this process to take up to 8 hours on a motorhome!
I then assess to find the best way to machine polish the caravan / motorhome to eliminate all the streaking / defects.
Quite often this can be a 2 stage process in order to remove defects and then obtain the gloss finish, which leaves your used caravan as close to new finish as is possible.
This can often take around 35 hours work,....hence the price we quote you!
I hope this goes some way to explaining just how we come to the price quoted.

Here at Moray Shine, we specialise in caravan & motorhome valeting, with just the odd vehicle slotted in if we find time.
For anyone enquiring about our services, due to the high demand at this time of year, waiting time is currently at least 6 weeks before we can book you in.
There is only 2 of us, we work 7 days a week, and haven't had a day off in the last 6 weeks so please bear with us.

CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT
After many years serving our customers and the wider caravanning community, we would like to announce that Dyce Caravans will be closing the main trading business and commencing an orderly wind-down of operations over the coming weeks.
This decision has been incredibly difficult for the family and has been made following a combination of retirement considerations, family health circumstances, increasingly challenging market conditions, and rising operating costs.
We would like to sincerely thank all of our customers for the support, loyalty, and friendships shown to us over the years. We are extremely proud of the relationships we have built and are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in our family business.
We appreciate that many customers may have questions regarding existing bookings and orders. Please be assured that we will continue to support customers as much as possible throughout the closure process.
• All confirmed unit sales orders will be fulfilled in accordance with the sales orders placed.
• We will also do our very best to complete upcoming workshop bookings wherever possible during the wind-down period.
• Our storage facility will continue to operate as normal, and storage customers will be contacted separately with any relevant information regarding ongoing arrangements.
• In due course, we will also provide customers with a list of useful alternative contacts, including independent workshop facilities, manufacturers, and other relevant service providers, to help support any ongoing servicing, repair, or warranty requirements wherever possible.
Our team will remain available throughout this process and we ask for your patience and understanding while we work through existing commitments in an organised and responsible manner.
