The machine behind me was my first crusher: a 2013 Finlay J-1175, bought out of Ireland with 8,500 hours already on it. It was a huge step for me after starting the company in 2016 with nothing and saving hard enough to finally get a deposit together in 2023.
Within the first week of my very first hire, the main pumps blew. Before I’d even sent my first invoice, I had to borrow money from my brother just to get a new set of pumps and keep going. That moment could have finished it all — but stopping was never an option.
At the time it was just me, the crusher, a pickup with a toolbox, and my wife running the admin while I turned the spanners.
Fast forward to today and we’re growing year on year — a new employee, a service van, a screen added — and now waiting on our new-to-us 2021 crusher to arrive.
Huge thanks to everyone who trusted us along the way.
Humble beginnings. Hard lessons. Big ambitions. Onwards and upwards.
