Here's a nice way to end the weekend!

Congratulations to Aidan McDonald, who has today received his Level 3 Apprenticeship certificate with merit for a Maintenance and Operations (Mechanical Engineering) Technician.
Aidan is our 12th apprentice to qualify at GIC, and he's pictured here being presented with his papers by his mentor and Lead Mechanical Fitter, Liam Delaney. Liam has been with GIC for 16 years, joining us in 2010 as our second apprentice.

Exciting news!

We recently completed our fifth Cotswold Linear Weigher installation!

The project was undertaken for Beanworks roasters in Northampton. As well as installing the weigher to deliver semi-automatic packing of coffee beans, we also integrated their existing Jenco vacuum loader, which is used to convey the beans up to the weigher.

Beanworks was established in 2005 by two friends with a passion for coffee. Over the years, the company has grown from a small Derbyshire industrial unit using a second-hand Italian coffee roaster into a respected speciality coffee roaster supplying cafés, restaurants and homes across the UK.
