A reminder for homeowners and tenants that we still have access to funding for installing solar panels, 100% free of charge.

In many council areas, it’s not necessary to be on benefits or allowances to qualify.

The main stipulation is that your home must have an ELECTRIC heating system (storage heaters, ASHP, electric boiler etc).

ECO stands for Energy Companies Obligation and has been in place since 2013, providing millions of homeowners and tenants with support for upgrading the energy efficiency of their homes. We are now into the 4th phase of ECO funding (ECO4) which will run until March 2026.

- 75% grant
- average contribution around £4-500

Boilers
- benefits needed
- homeowners
- non-condensing boiler (ask us if unsure)
- 100% free of charge

Solar Panels only
- benefits needed
- homeowners or tenants
- electric heating currently
- 100% free of charge

Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Panels
- benefits needed
- homeowners and tenants
- any property without mains gas (oil, LPG, electric etc)
- 100% free of charge

Hi Folks,

We are delighted to say we now have access to the last pot of ECO funding that will be available for FREE SOLAR PANELS!! No contracts, tie-ins, ownership issues etc - they’re yours and they’re free, that’s it!

To qualify :

- someone in the property must be in receipt of a credit or allowance (Tax Credits, UC, ESA, Pension Credit etc)
- the home must have electric-only heating

This funding is available for both homeowners and tenants, landlords will benefit hugely.

40% of people on UC are working - teachers, health workers, emergency service workers included, so anyone having a go about those who should and shouldn’t be qualifying will be instantly blocked.
