We’ve recently shared a blog that’s very close to our hearts at FSC Construction & Maintenance.

Written by our HR Manager, Sharon Brown, it explains why our relationship with Humber Rescue is such an important one to us. Several years ago, we experienced a profound loss involving someone close to our company, and during that difficult time, the volunteers at Humber Rescue acted with compassion, professionalism, and dignity.

Learning more about the vital work they do on the River Humber — often in challenging conditions and entirely as volunteers — inspired us to support them through fundraising and long-term partnership.

This post is shared with gratitude and respect for the incredible people who give their time to help others in moments of need.

⚽ Project Complete | Brigg Town Football Club

We’re proud to have partnered with Brigg Town Football Club as part of a wider stadium renovation to deliver a bespoke printed wall cladding installation.

The brief was to create a visually striking “memory wall” that celebrates the club’s rich history, recognising key achievements, loyal supporters, and both the men’s and women’s teams.

Designed in-house, the finished installation combines durability, hygiene, and visual impact. Using high-quality printed hygienic wall cladding, we’ve transformed the space into an engaging and meaningful environment for players, staff, and visitors alike.

It’s been a privilege to contribute to a project that honours the heritage and community behind such a historic club.

All of us at FSC continue to hold Chantelle and her family close in our thoughts following the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, Myla, in January. Myla was just 10 years old, and throughout her illness, she showed a courage and strength that touched everyone who heard her story.

Being part of ‘Together For Myla’ has meant a great deal to us all. What began as a way to support Chantelle became something deeply personal, a way to honour Myla, her spirit, and the lasting mark she has left on so many lives.

Our love and deepest condolences remain with Chantelle, her family, and all of Myla’s friends. We will continue to stand alongside them, offering our support whenever it’s needed.

It has been incredibly moving to see so many people come together for the recent Twilight Walk, raising funds and awareness in Myla’s memory. The kindness and generosity shown are a true reflection of the difference Myla continues to make.

We remain committed to supporting Chantelle and to continuing this important work, helping to raise awareness of DMG and keeping Myla’s story alive. We can’t wait to play a part in whatever’s next!

Myla will always be remembered and will always be part of the FSC family.

FSC had a fantastic time at the EC Surfacing Stadium this weekend as FSC sponsored Brigg Town Football Club CIC final home game of the 25/26 season.

We’ve been working closely with the club on some recent stadium renovations, and it was great to see the fans enjoying the improved facilities. Supporting a local club like Brigg Town is a real privilege for us; there’s nothing quite like the atmosphere of grassroots football and the community that surrounds it.

A huge thank you to the club for the hospitality and the presentation of a signed shirt. We’re proud to be part of the journey in helping develop the stadium for players and supporters to enjoy for years to come.

We don’t usually share updates from our domestic works, but we’re currently on site at a new-build property in Richmond, Yorkshire — and this one was worth sharing, especially as the client was keen for us to do so.

Our flooring team, Billy and Rhys, are doing a fantastic job installing new flooring throughout the property, including high-quality carpets and stylish LVT tiles, helping bring the space together from the ground up.
