🔨 Victorian Property Repairs & Restoration – Manchester 🔨

A recent job completed for a returning customer in Manchester.

This project involved repairing and patching sections of original Victorian skirting boards, carefully matching the existing profiles as close as possible to maintain the character of the property.

We also boxed in exposed pipework within the WC to create a much cleaner and more finished appearance.

It's often the smaller details that make the biggest difference, and preserving original features wherever possible is something we take pride in.

✨ Don’t replace it — reface it! ✨

Here’s a recent kitchen refresh we completed, transforming the whole look of the space without the cost and disruption of a full new kitchen.

The customer wanted to create a more open and spacious feel in the kitchen, so we removed the tall fridge/freezer housing ready to be replaced for a smaller undercounter fridge and freezer and added a lrager cuoboard above. This instantly opened the room up and made the layout feel much less crowded.

We then replaced the old dark worktops with modern light grey stone-effect surfaces, giving the kitchen a brighter, cleaner and more modern finish that works perfectly with the sage green units. 👌

Sometimes it’s the simple upgrades that make the biggest difference.

🏠 COMPLETE KITCHEN OVERHAUL IN GREETLAND! 🏠

Managing separate plasterers, electricians, plumbers, and joiners can be a massive headache for a homeowner. For this project in Greetland, Halifax, we stepped in to fully project-manage the entire multi-trade process from start to finish.

Keeping the kitchen layout more or less the same, this job was all about extensive preparation work and crisp trade coordination:

✔️ Full Re-Plastering: We meticulously stripped the walls clean of old layers of paint and wallpaper, boarded over the old ceiling, and completely re-plastered the entire room to create perfectly smooth, crisp surfaces.

✔️ Boiler Integration: We integrated a brand-new combi boiler into the space and built a bespoke, seamless matching timber cupboard around it to cleanly hide the pipework.

✔️ Workflow Tweaks: We shifted the position of the hob further around the counter to optimize the food preparation workspace.

✔️ Electrical Overhaul: We fully upgraded the zone, installing modern flush-fitting spotlights in the new ceiling alongside sleek new sockets and switches.

✔️ Security Upgrade: We removed an old warped uPVC back door that had become nearly impossible to close or lock, replacing it with a brand-new, high-security composite back door that fits and seals perfectly.

Messy strip-out, replastering, plumbing, electrical alterations, and external door replacement—all handled by one team. Zero stress for the client, finished to the absolute highest standard.

Kitchen Transformation in Progress – Halifax

This one’s really starting to come together now 👌

Greetland Kitchen Renovation – Nearly There 🛠️
Another kitchen coming together nicely here in Greetland.

The kitchen is now taking shape with the units now fitted in place and worktops going in. Integrated fridge freezer is temporaryin place pending a deeper end panel to allow for scribing againt the uneven wall.

It’s always at this stage you really start to see the end result taking shape—especially with the wood effect laminate worktops against the green units 👌

Still to come are the finishing touches… doors, tiling, boiler housing and flooring to complete the look.
