☀️Summer flew by.…….How is it September already?

While plenty of people have enjoyed a summer break, it's been a busy few months for the BoomTeam.

Over the last few months we've delivered new fit-outs, upgraded meeting spaces, rolled out AV solutions across factory environments, completed Zoom migration audits, and helped clients prepare for a busy autumn.

Launching a new office is challenging.

Launching one against a compressed programme, coordinating with teams in London and Los Angeles, working around changing site conditions, and ensuring collaboration works from the very first meeting is something else entirely.

That was the reality of our recent project for Dr Squatch, where day-one readiness wasn't a nice-to-have. It was essential.

Working closely with stakeholders across both sides of the Atlantic, the objective was simple: create a collaboration environment that performed exactly as expected from the moment employees walked through the door.

For us, success wasn't about installing technology. It was about removing uncertainty at a critical moment, allowing teams to focus on their work rather than the tools supporting it.

A great project to be involved in, supporting Dr Squatch's new London office launch and ensuring collaboration worked from day one. Thanks to DTEN for their technology contribution to the project.

🏢 Commissioning & testing complete on another Central London HQ fit-out.

The installations may be finished, but some of the most important work happens before the client moves in.

This image captures one of the final milestones in any AV project: commissioning and testing.

Working directly with the client from the early design stages, we took responsibility for developing the workplace AV strategy, coordinating with third-party contractors, managing project dependencies and helping keep everything aligned to key deadlines and move-in requirements.

Across the workplace, we've delivered a consistent Microsoft Teams Rooms experience, from smaller hybrid meeting rooms through to boardrooms and an event space, alongside workplace digital signage designed to keep people informed and connected throughout the building.

Before handover, every space is checked, validated and fine-tuned. From room functionality and audio performance through to device management and user workflows, attention to detail at this stage helps ensure the workplace is ready for day one.

It's also where support begins. 💛

For us, support doesn't start after go-live. Through BoomCare, long-term supportability, management and user experience are considered throughout the project lifecycle, helping create a smoother transition for users and greater confidence for the client.

Another phase of a Smart Factory rollout for one of our manufacturing clients is underway.

Our engineering team are now bringing the solution to life on site, but the project started much earlier with our consultancy and design teams developing a Smart Factory standard that could be deployed consistently across multiple manufacturing sites.

We spent time understanding how the solution would be used, the different environments it would need to work in, and how we could create a standard that remained practical to deploy, support and manage as the programme scaled.

At the heart of the solution are Sharp interactive displays, integrated compute and Unicol mounting solutions. We needed technology that was reliable, robust enough for daily operational use, and flexible enough to work across different factory environments without creating unnecessary complexity.

Different spaces, viewing distances and operational workflows all influence how the solution is used. That's why the standard includes both 65" and 86" displays, alongside fixed and mobile mounting options, allowing the solution to adapt without losing consistency for users.

In some locations, the displays are replacing whiteboards used for shift briefings. In others, they're supporting different operational workflows. Some areas suit a fixed installation, while others benefit from a mobile solution that can be positioned where teams need it.

Just as important, the solution needs to remain manageable long after installation. Through BoomCare remote management and support services, the technology can be supported consistently across the wider estate as the rollout grows.

A great effort from everyone involved and fantastic to see another phase of the programme coming to life 👏

✨ A well-deserved promotion.

We're delighted to announce the promotion of Andrew Ameson-Jeffries to Service Delivery Manager.

As BoomSpace continues to grow, we're continuing to invest in the people, structure and capability that support our customers and the environments they rely on every day.

AJ's promotion reflects both the contribution he has made to the business and the important role he will play as we continue to develop BoomCare and strengthen our service delivery capability.

Promoting from within is something we're proud of, and this is a fantastic example of recognising someone who has made a positive impact across the business.

There are more meeting room solutions available today than ever before.

From simple collaboration spaces through to boardrooms, divisible environments and large-scale meeting spaces, organisations have more choice than ever when it comes to workplace technology.

What we've learned over the years is that successful meeting rooms are rarely defined by the technology alone.
