This bank holiday weekend the Reactive Hire team swapped eco welfare for rock music, sponsoring the Old Goats Grumble XII Music & B**r Festival , and what a brilliant weekend it was.

All proceeds from Old Goats Grumble go to Lauren's Legacy charity, with the event looking to raise around £40,000 this year. A fantastic community coming together, a brilliant cause, and a weekend that reminded us there's more to what we do than delivering welfare units — though we're pretty good at that too!

Yesterday our MD John McClure attended the Press Day for the Great Yorkshire Build at Maltby Hilltop School in Rotherham and came away with an award we'll treasure.

Reactive Hire donated a brand new 15-person EcoPro Ultra Solar welfare unit to this incredible project, spearheaded by Yorkshire Children's Charity. Hilltop is a specialist school for children aged 2–19 with severe learning difficulties — some of the most vulnerable young people in the region — and this £3.5 million transformation will change their lives. New classrooms, a dedicated rebound therapy space and facilities that match the remarkable work happening inside.

We believe sustainable welfare should serve everyone — and being part of something this meaningful, alongside so many brilliant contractors and partners, is exactly why we do what we do.

Huge congratulations to Yorkshire Children's Charity, the entire Great Yorkshire Build team, and everyone who has given their time, skills and resources to make this happen. 🙌
