Another positive update for Hallstile Bank Chimney Collapse:

The chimney stack has been safely removed with the majority of safety concerns alleviated.

Scaffold is being erected this week, with the roof structure and covering being formed next week for weather protection, along with internal strip out.

In the meantime, the roof structure is being designed for the soonest commencement.

Time for a displays update!

The stairs have had their summer refresh, bringing a bright seasonal feel. Currently, we also have flags in the office in aid of the World Cup, along with a wall chart keeping us updated for our sweepstake!

It's amazing how a few simple touches can brighten the workplace and create a welcoming environment for both our team and visitors.

It's Re-Wind Wednesday!

This is from along the Northumberland coast and another project we were delighted to be involved with from inception through to completion.

The brief was to transform a dated property through a high-specification refurbishment, creating a fresh, contemporary home with a distinct coastal feel.

As part of the specification, a bespoke flood-defence door was incorporated to help protect the property and enhance its resilience for the future.

It's always rewarding to see a project evolve from the initial concept through to the finished result.

We are very proud to share that James Marshall won the Rotary Young Employee of the Year Award on Monday 8th June.

James is part of our land surveying team – AMR Geomatics.

This year it was organised by Vivien Drydon and supported by sponsors, such as Hexham Town Council – thank you very much, such a great cause to support and encourage the next generation.

Congratulations to the runners up, as they were very strong candidates.

A few of us were fortunate to be invited along to the event, including Lee Riley and Julia Robinson for what was a lovely evening with delicious food. It was also great hearing from last year’s winner – our very own Anna Robson – and how she had spent some of her winnings, along with plans for the remainder.

Thank you to all involved and we hope this award is able to continue for many years to come.

It's Rewind Wednesday!

In this instance, we were able to demolish the existing agricultural sheds and these beautiful stone properties were designed to take their place. The design was completed sympathetically to the local architecture and subsequently the development blends into this quiet Northumberland village like it has always been there.
