🚪 Our joinery team have stepped off the SomerFest stage for a moment to build something special – a brand new display stand for our wooden garden gates, now on show in our retail area.

Manufactured in the UK from Scandinavian redwood pine, these gates are built using traditional mortice and tenon joints and fully pressure-treated to last. Proper craftsmanship, built to endure.

💚 Big Green Week – here's how we're doing our bit.

As a timber business, we take our responsibility to the environment seriously. All our wood comes from FSC certified suppliers, and any pallets that can't be repaired are chipped and used to fuel our kiln or sold as biofuel – nothing goes to waste.

We also make the most of our Somerset sunshine. Solar panels across our factory rooftops generate energy that's stored in our battery room, with smart software dynamically switching between our own supply and a 100% green tariff depending on what's needed and when.

That power runs our buildings, our machinery, and charges our electric forklifts, cars and vans. Any excess goes straight back to the grid.
