Howarth Homes had a great day yesterday at this years Wembley Job Fair. It was great to see the enthusiasm from all those we met who were looking for a new job or apprenticeship, or just getting some careers advice. Brent Council flagship event was held in partnership with Howarth Homes.

Congratulations to Dylan May, Chris Phillips & Alison Conway who represented Howarth Contractors in the JLL Property Triathlon last Friday at Dorney Lake. Thank you to JLL and the organisers for a great day. We will be back next year! Well done to everyone involved.

We are pleased to have exchanged contracts with SNG (Formerly Network Homes) as part of our long-term partnership on our development at Smiths Farm, Northolt. This project will deliver 220 affordable units for Social Rent and Shared Ownership, and the conversion of the locally listed Smiths Farm farmhouse and barns. This partnership contributes towards much-needed high-quality, energy-efficient new homes for local people.

The Howarth team had a fantastic time competing in the Searls Annual Football Tournament! We battled hard and made it all the way to the quarter finals of the plate competition. Even though we fell short to the eventual runners-up, it was a close match and a great experience for everyone involved.
We are already looking forward to putting our best foot forward next year with some early practice sessions!! Thank you to Searls Land for organising a great event.

We are pleased to welcome Andy Collyer to the team as the New Business & Partnerships Director.
Andy previously worked at Lovell Partnerships and Bugler Homes and brings with him a wealth of knowledge, that will support the growth of Howarth Contracting.

We are thrilled to announce a major milestone at our development in Henley-On-Thames, South Oxfordshire. Last week, alongside our joint venture Gresham House we celebrated the topping out at this landmark affordable housing development.

The development will deliver 43 shared ownership flats across two buildings, and is the first in Henley made up entirely of affordable housing helping address the significant local need.

We are extremely proud of what we have achieved on this project and look forward to handing these homes over in the Summer later this year.

We are delighted to have handed the final units at Dabbs Hill, Northolt to SNG (Formerly Network Homes) last week. With the final 16 properties now complete, this marks the completion of the 149 home development, consisting of 118 apartments and 31 family sized houses. All homes are affordable with 128 homes for Shared Ownership and 21 for Affordable Rent. Great work to all those involved on this stunning development!

We are pleased to announce that we have recently signed contracts on our first contract with Watford Community Housing on Foxgrove Path in South Oxhey.

The scheme will deliver 53 affordable homes, with works on site anticipated to start in Summer 2024 and complete in early 2026.

Ben Searle, Managing Director at Howarth Contractors said, “Its great news to agree our first project with WCH, which will deliver much needed housing to the area and we are looking forward to working alongside WCH and Calford Seadon in delivering high-quality, energy-efficient new homes.”

Helen Town, Group Director of Property and Partnerships at Watford Community Housing, said: “We are very pleased to be working on our first development with Howarth! This partnership will see 18-affordable rent and 35-Shared Ownership homes being built near Foxgrove Path in South Oxhey, helping to meet the high demand for affordable homes in the local area.”
