This video shows the working of the loom turning the warp into the end product. You can see the yarns going through the accumulator where the colours are taken in turn as per the pattern that’s been programmed into the loom

Here we are beaming off the yarns after it’s been warped, this takes it from the warping frame and puts it on a smaller beam that will go into the back of the loom

We are now fringing the cashmere blankets you saw warping and weaving last week. As you can see we need an eye for detail and make sure all the fringes are perfect. Here you can see Caroline repairing the edge of the fringe so that when it’s finished it’s all secure.
