I’m absolutely delighted to share that I am now a qualified Drawing and Talking Practitioner! 🦋

This is a really special milestone for me as this was something on my vision board for 2026! I’m so excited to now be able to offer this wonderful therapeutic approach to support children and young people.

Drawing and Talking provides a safe, gentle, and supportive space where children can express their thoughts and feelings through drawing… which is especially useful when words are hard to find!

This therapeutic support can be offered to children over 5 who have experienced any mild to moderate emotional difficulty. For example, anxiety, bullying, life changes, grief, social difficulties or trauma. Drawing and Talking is also SEN friendly.

By using this approach, I can help children explore emotions, build confidence, develop emotional resilience, and feel truly heard and understood. It’s such a powerful way to nurture wellbeing and support positive mental health in a caring and non-intrusive way.

Drawing and Talking is not about being an amazing artist! But instead about using images, storytelling and metaphors to process subconscious emotional pain.

I feel incredibly proud to have completed this training and am looking forward to start delivering this 12-week, one-to-one, intervention.
