🔩 Another Bespoke Gate Project Completed! 🔩

A great transformation on this residential property, with two bespoke steel-framed pedestrian gates and two matching infill panels, all manufactured, finished and installed by M.A.T Weld and Fab.

The gates and panels feature a clean, modern horizontal bar design, finished in a durable dark grey coating to complement the existing brickwork and fencing. 👌

We also fitted a keypad access system to one of the pedestrian gates, giving the customer secure and convenient access without the need for traditional keys. 🔐

From measuring and fabrication through to finishing and installation, everything was completed to suit the property and customer’s requirements.

🔧 Ford Transit Chassis & Body Repairs 🔧

Another Ford Transit in the workshop needing some serious attention underneath!

This one had extensive corrosion around the chassis and rear body sections, with several areas badly weakened by rust. We stripped back the affected areas, cut out the rotten metal and fabricated new sections to properly repair and reinforce the structure. 🛠️

The repairs included:

✅ Removing heavily corroded steel
✅ Fabricating new repair sections
✅ Welding and reinforcing the chassis/body structure
✅ Repairing the rear corner and wheel arch areas
✅ Restoring strength to the affected sections
✅ Preparing everything for protection against future corrosion

A lot of fabrication and welding involved, but another solid repair rather than simply patching over the rust. 💪
