Great Aircon install this weekend ready for the upcoming hot hot weather 🥵
Spirit Hair Co has a beautiful salon but we're struggling in this heat, especially when running their hair dryers and styling tools💇‍♀️

A lovely little heat pump install started last week! Hopefully the first of many.

This particular install was specced to run flow temperatures up to 45°C with a SCOP of 3.65 meaning for every KW of electricity consumed - this heat pump will "move" 3.65 KW of heat into the home (compared to a boiler that would produce approximately 0.9KW of heat for every KW of gas consumed).

We've installed a very nice 3.5KW Arotherm Plus for this property - thanks to their very competitive 7 year parts and labour warranty and general status in the heat pump industry.

This install will also feature Open Energy Monitoring so anyone can view this install online for its real world performance and cost to run.

Really looking forward to getting this one wrapped up so we can see the results!

Have you ever thought your hot water or heating system looks like something out of the arc? This customer did!

This was a well needed conversation from the ancient gravity fed hot water system to a much more modern and efficient unvented mains system. These really are brilliant and absolutely worth the investment. This particular install was brought on as a result of high ongoing maintenance costs for various things like shower pumps and fill valves. All of which get replaced for a very simple cylinder fed by just mains pressure.

These will happily store your hot water with minimal losses for over 24 hours! Thanks to their high quality insulation and lack of pressure loss.

A lovely multi split AC install today! Really getting into these.

We're amazed they aren't more mainstream. They do heating in the winter and cooling in the summer, and they're more efficient to run than a boiler! (Especially with today's gas prices).

This example was nicely finished with some black external trunking whilst keeping all internal pipework completely hidden with the help of an aspen condensate pump on the loft.

We're a big fan of these Bosch AC units. This one in particular can be powered off a basic 13A plug and still provide more than enough power for 2 rooms on even the hottest of days. Worcester Bosch also offers a 5 guarantee on this unit for piece of mind.

An interesting commercial grade install completed in an office building in Windsor last week!

We removed an old gravity fed and oversized 50KW Ideal Concord and replaced it with a top spec Ideal 32KW Vogue system.

Rather proud of this install! It features a high flow Vaillant 1.25" plate heat exchanger to keep all of the old radiator contamination out of the new boiler whilst keeping resistance in the circuit to an absolute minimum.

In there we also have a handy Mikrofill unit to keep the system topped up, as well as a MagnaClean DualXP filter to help keep our plate heat exchanger in top health.

We also pressurised the system to help increase efficiency and also keep the system clean following it's chemical flush.

Another lovely install completed in Princes Risborough.

Ideal Logic Max 30KW combi, complimented with Hives new V4 controls boasting highly efficient OpenTherm technology that modulates the boiler flow temperature down to meet demand and save you money!

This was a bit of a tricky one, our customer wanted the boiler in the airing cupboard where a chimney passes through. We were able to fabricate a solid back board to mount the boiler to, then used an extended flue to make up the gap behind the boiler.

Overall a very nice, and clean install.
