This latest project in Doncaster involved the installation of two ceiling cassettes to meet the heating and cooling demands, working in conjunction with two heat recovery ventilation units by Mitsubishi Electric Living Environmental Systems UK Designed and installed by Climate Control Ltd. The primary objective was to replace an obsolete air handling unit (AHU) located in a compact plant room only accessible through a limited ceiling hatch. Following from the inital site survey, it was clear that reusing the existing ductwork within the dance studio was the most efficient approach for the ventilation system; consequently, it was necessary to replace the AHU with equipment that could pass through the ceiling hatch and be capable of delivering the required ventilation. The ventilation rates wete calculated and two Lossnay units were selected. These were then installed in a double-stacked configuration on steel channel frame along with new ductwork within the plant room. Additionally, bespoke plenums were made for the supply and exhaust air, integrating with the existing external weather louvres. The end result is an excellent demonstration of our engineers' skill and dedication to quality. Great looking job so far! 👌
