First miglia start race in a few years and a busy few laps . My head nearly got knocked off in turn 2 🀣but ended up with a race win in the old beast ! Followed by another win in race 3 πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

The Heathcote mishap coming back together well , this is an original retired shell which we installed a cage in a while ago . The crash repair is going well but there’s a lot of old resto work which needs attention so a bit more work than first thought but almost ready to come off the jig for paint prep πŸ’ͺ🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏁

Poor Nathan Heathcote had a big moment at paddock hill bend Brands Hatch last Sunday , (I think he was scared of being rubbed from behind by a Welshman ) !

From a simple locking up of brakes to digging I. The gravel and a huge roll . our cages are tested again and proved to have done their job πŸ’ͺ

Big attack now to get the car stripped , panelled up and painted before we rebuild and get ready to get back for Silverstone . We had two great races and fun in Qualifying with Nathan who is one bloody fast driver and mega to race with as plenty of respect unlike many 🀣🀣

A few pics to remind us of Brands hatch weekend !! Absolutely one of the best weekends I’ve had as Jaco and I both raced together and won together for the first time ever !! 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏁

Jaco managed 3 pole positions and 2 wins and and unfortunate lockup into the gravel but for his first ever time to brands and only the second time to drive a miglia it was awesome to see

I was out in my miglia for the first time in 2 years which has been raced by Jaco , Oli Birkett and Jo Polley over the last year and loved it ! Struggled to get a lap in quali so started 4th but won race 1 , race 2 was Awsome but last corner ran into the back of Jo Furg who missed a gear and cut my electrics so a 5th and a great race in race 3 to win after a mega race with Ian Curley who I first raced against 28 years ago ( old fuc**ers)!!

Time to hang my miglia boots up for a few years now while we take time off to race as much different cars as we can and concentrate on the kids racing , hopefully I’ll come back again one day !

The time has come to see to sell my mini miglia , This was car number 1 of the evolution of mini miglias OMG πŸ’ͺ

I always said I wanted to do 1 meeting with Jaco my son on track together and we did it this weekend and it was absolutely Awsome . Probably the best and busiest weekend of my life and fortunate to have some great results πŸ’ͺ🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

So we have a race win in miglia for sale , winning two races the weekend with an old driver .

For sale for 55k which will include an outside paint job in your colour . I think this car is as fast if not faster than any car on the grid and would love to see it back out there πŸ‘ŒπŸ½ can run the car as well as long as you like to be part of the best awning in the mini 7 club 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏁🏁🀣🀣

A weekend ive been excited about for years to share the track with Jaco has arrived πŸ₯°

That was a busy day 1 at Brands Yesterday! Huge thanks to my Awsome team and family for all the hard work
Absolutely amazing day and memories made being in track with Jaco in his all new miglia and just towing each other round was great fun πŸ’ͺ

Today we have qualifying and a race in the miglias and a qualifying in the Historic minis and tomorrow will be manic with 4 races to get through ! Safe to say we’re going to sleep for a week 🀣

My first race in a miglia for 2 years so will be interesting to see how things have moved on and how far I’ll be off the mad lot at the front of the miglia grid !
