Today’s job: installing a new earth rod and earth inspection pit for a domestic property — making sure the installation has a solid path to earth and meets the highest safety standards.

We installed a tidy inspection pit for future testing/maintenance and made sure everything was accessible, protected, and compliant.

It might not be the most glamorous part of an electrical installation… but when it comes to safety, reliability, and proper fault protection, a good earth connection is absolutely essential. 🌍⚡

⚡️ Safety Upgrade in Action ⚡️

Out with the old, in with the safer solution. This Type AC RCD had stopped tripping during testing, meaning it could no longer provide the protection it was designed for.

Today it’s been replaced with a Type A RCD, offering improved protection and better compatibility with modern appliances that produce DC leakage currents.
