A former SpaceX lead battery responsible engineer, Harris helmed the engineering team behind the battery systems powering Falcon 9, Cargo Dragon, and Crew Dragon. His experience in battery engineering, energy storage, and thermal management will further strengthen VivoPower's capabilities as it scales its sovereign AI data center platform and supports Tembo's electrification initiatives.

VivoPower PLC has advanced the tenant selection process for its operational 41.5MW AI data center in Mo i Rana, Norway, following a competitive process that received multiple proposals from AI operators and infrastructure investors.

The facility is powered by 100% renewable hydroelectric energy and includes an additional 40MW expansion opportunity, subject to regulatory approval.

The company is targeting US$1.9M in annual EBITDA, with no additional capex required.

This reflects a broader shift in infrastructure strategy, where data centres are supporting grid flexibility while generating additional revenue streams.
