“Ofgem have announced an increase of around 6% in energy unit rates from January 1 2024, mostly due to wholesale costs being driven up by tensions in the Middle East on top of the ongoing global energy price crisis.

From January 1 to March 31 2024 unit rates are increasing by an average of around 6% for a typical home.”
