Exciting news from Crayfields Park! We will soon be installing bat-friendly lighting in our car parks to protect and support our amazing local wildlife. 🦇

Did you know we have SIX different bat species living right here on our estate? Including the wonderful Daubenton's Bat (nicknamed the 'Water Bat') who love our location next to the SSSI Nature Reserve lakes and the beautiful River Cray!

Our new lighting is specially designed to be wildlife-friendly while keeping everyone safe.

We're so proud to be part of preserving our local ecosystem! 🌿

As we near the end of the year, we wanted to look back at some of the great things taking place at Crayfields Park over the last couple of months!

From July to September, our community impact has been incredible:

🐝 Harvested 199 jars of honey from our three beehives, distributed freely to St Barnabus Community Fridge, Riverside School SEND Café and local schools

🎓 Celebrated our first SEND student completing his 80-hour supported internship programme, and securing two part-time landscaping jobs locally

🎨 Launched creative partnerships with Riverside School, including a 3D art project with padlock designs for our Bee Enclosure

🏢 Officially opened our newly refurbished Unit 21 with local MP Gareth Bacon and LB Bromley Councillors, showcasing sustainability and wellbeing features

🌊 Contributed personal time to improve wetland reed beds on the River Cray, supporting our unique chalk bed river ecosystem

💚 United our tenant community in fundraising for local primary schools, where over 60% of children live in poverty-stricken areas

Every initiative reflects our commitment to sustainability, community support, and making Bromley a better place for everyone. Here's to continuing this impact into 2026!

Who else is loving this gorgeous autumn weather? We're absolutely blown away by how stunning our green space is looking right now!

🫐 Our brambles are bursting with fruit - perfect for a little foraging fun with the family
🌼 The evening primroses by our beehives are putting on quite the show
🌹 Beautiful autumn colours everywhere - from our classic dog roses in the fields to the exciting new plantings at Unit 21
🍃 That satisfying crunch of autumn leaves underfoot as you wander the paths

🐝🍯 SWEET NEWS from Crayfields Park!

Our very first honey harvest is here! Our talented beekeeper Pam from Bee Responsible has been working her magic with our beehives, and we couldn't be more excited about the results.

The best part? We're sharing 200 jars with our wonderful local community - St Barnabus Community Pantry, Riverside School Café, and local primary schools for their Harvest Festivals!

It's been a challenging year weather-wise, but Pam's weekly visits and expert care have paid off beautifully. This project is all about giving back - to our pollinators, our environment, and our neighbors.

Nothing beats the taste of local, responsibly-produced honey! 🌻

Have you heard the latest buzz at Crayfields Park? 🐝 Our team has partnered with amazing students from London South East Colleges - Bromley to create something special!

Talented SEND students are rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands in the soil to create beautiful late-flowering plant beds. Not only are they learning valuable workplace skills, but they're also helping our busy bees stay fed through the winter months! 🌱✨

Did you know only 4.8% of SEND students nationally get workplace opportunities?
Huge thanks to LSEC-Bromley and their dedicated Job Coach Paula McKay for making this partnership bloom! We can't wait to see what these students accomplish next!

Ready, Set, Go CRAYZEE at Crayfields Park! 🏆

We're so excited about our upcoming CrayZee Olympic Family Sports Day happening at Crayfields Park on August 15th, 2025! This fun-filled event brings together our amazing tenants, management team, supply partners and their families for an afternoon of laughter and friendly competition!
Hopefully they’ve all dug out their trainers and started warming up... 😅

From the 100m Dash to the hilariously named "Wonky Donkey Derby Baton Race," we've planned a day that celebrates connection, wellbeing, and community spirit. Three teams will battle it out in events like the Olympic Mad Holiday Airport Dash, Tug of War, and Fitness Trail Steeple Chase!

Special thanks to Andy Wilson, our wonderful Community & Estate Manager, for organising this fantastic event.
It's initiatives like these that truly make Crayfields a special place to work!

We've got some exciting new "tenants" at Crayfields Park!

Our newly refreshed units are now home to pollinators like buzzing bees, insects and birdlife thanks to our stunning green living wall! 🐝

Our vertical garden isn't just pretty to look at, it's creating essential habitats and connecting crucial wildlife corridors for our local hedgehogs and foxes! 🦔🦊

And this is just the start! We're on a mission to boost biodiversity by 30% at Crayfields Park. 🍃
