A collaborative workshop held at our London offices attended by UK Power Networks alongside key suppliers including LPC Construction enabled us to engage directly with site gangs to discuss how to safely manage Line of Fire (LOF) risks when excavating with 360-degree machines.

Through open discussion, collaboration and using recent LOF incident examples and scale models the teams explored the challenges faced on site and identified a number of practical controls and actions to help ensure operations can be carried out safely.

The key outcome was agreement on a collaborative approach to develop a Best Practice Guidance Document which will outline what is considered acceptable in relation to competence, hazard identification, safe zones and use of technology when operating around 360-degree excavators.

Falco are proud sponsors of Bury St Edmunds Under 10s football team which plays in the Ipswich and Suffolk youth football league. The seven-as-side team’s home, away, and training kits all display the Falco logo.

Right-winger James Gibson’s father Eric is Falco’s Financial Controller.

The U10s side is one of thirty youth teams which is run by Bury Town FC, a registered charity that supports grassroots football in the area including over 350 registered players. The adult team plays in the Southern League Premier Division, the 7th tier of English football.

Falco are proud sponsors of Bury St Edmunds Under 10s football team - one of 30 youth teams run by Bury Town FC. Our social value offering provides support to local community organisations such as Bury Town FC which falls within the EPN region of our UKPN contract
