💙 A small job for us, but hopefully a little help towards something much bigger.

Today, the Chase Automation team visited Cots for Tots in Bristol to carry out a free service on their automatic doors, helping to keep everything moving, lubricated and working as it should.
For us, it’s a relatively small gesture, but it means another cost this wonderful charity doesn’t have to worry about — allowing more of their funds to stay focused on where they really matter. 💙
Cots for Tots, part of The Grand Appeal, does incredible work supporting sick and premature babies and their families across the South West, and we’re really pleased to be able to offer a little support of our own.
More importantly, we’d love to use our platform to help spread the word about the work they do.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Of course, we couldn’t let today pass without giving a shoutout to our beloved red & white setter, Ted ❤️🤍
Ted has popped into Chase Automation HQ today to lend a helping paw… although his contribution so far has mainly consisted of supervising the team, demanding attention and making sure nobody’s lunch goes unattended. 😂
He might not know much about gates, barriers or automatic doors, but when it comes to boosting office morale, Ted is definitely our most qualified member of staff! 🐶
Happy National Dog Day to all the four-legged members of the Chase family! 🐾💙

Throwback Tuesday 🔙

Throwing it back to one of the biggest domestic sliding gates we’ve built and installed — spanning an impressive 6.7 metres! 👀

There was definitely a fair amount of blood, sweat and tears that went into getting this one over the line, but the end result made it all worthwhile.

A project that needed plenty of planning, precision and teamwork from start to finish — and ultimately, a successful install all round. 💪

Big gates. Big challenges. The kind of projects we love at Chase Automation.

Attention to detail… apparently it means different things to different people 👀

We attended a survey this week and even our Projects Director had to do a double take.
Now, we’re not here to name and shame — but sometimes you come across workmanship that really does make you wonder how it was ever considered acceptable.

The frustrating part? Somewhere along the line, a customer has paid for a professional service, only for someone to cut corners… and they’re then left to live with the consequences.

At Chase Automation, attention to detail isn’t just about making something work. It’s about taking pride in the finish, respecting the customer’s property and leaving a job behind that you’d be happy to put your name to.

We won’t spell out what caught our eye in this one… 👀

🔧 The power of having critical spares on site…

We manage a very busy site that unfortunately sees its fair share of impacts — usually thanks to impatient drivers who think they know best! 😅

The downside? A damaged barrier can quickly leave the site compromised and create an unnecessary security risk.
After open conversations with our customer, we agreed a simple solution: hold critical spares on site.
So when the inevitable happens, our engineers can attend the call-out, carry out the repair and leave the site secure and fully operational — without waiting around for parts to arrive. ✅

It’s not just about reacting when something goes wrong. It’s about understanding our customers’ sites, identifying the risks and putting smart plans in place to minimise downtime.

Proactive planning + honest conversations + the right parts in the right place. 💪
That’s the kind of thinking that keeps our customers moving.
