This week, we’re pleased to welcome Tanner to the Firstco team!

Tanner joins us as a Senior Engineer, bringing extensive experience in control and automation engineering across a range of industrial and critical national infrastructure sectors, including hydroelectric power, mining, water treatment and industrial processing.

We’re delighted to have Tanner on board and look forward to the experience and knowledge he’ll bring to our growing engineering team.

We’re pleased to welcome the newest member of our team, Leo.

Leo joins us as a Systems Assurance Engineer, bringing over three years’ experience in a highly regulated and technically demanding engineering environment, where he progressed from Graduate Engineer to Mechanical Engineer.

Last Thursday, we hosted the second Company Meeting of the year at The Royal Air Force Club!

The event brought together colleagues from across the business for an engaging programme of presentations.

Highlights included:

• Updates from the Board of Directors on the company's direction

• Insights into key project delivery challenges and successes

• Collaborative team-building activities

We also welcomed PC Oliver Clixby from the Metropolitan Police Service Cyber Crime Unit, who delivered an insightful presentation on the evolving cyber security landscape and the emerging threats facing organisations today.

A huge thank you to everyone who presented, organised, and attended. The day was a great reminder of the expertise and talent we have throughout Firstco.

We’re exhibiting at AIR UK next week!

On 29 - 30 September, our team will be at Aviation Infrastructure Resilience (AIR) in Excel London, bringing together organisations shaping the future of UK aviation infrastructure.

At Firstco, we help airports manage complex, mission-critical infrastructure through systems integration, automation and centralised command and control.

We’ll be demoing our Engineering Command and Control Centre (ECC), which brings multiple critical systems together onto a single platform, giving operators greater visibility, improved situational awareness and centralised control.

These appointments reflect Firstco's continued investment in building a leadership team that combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial capability, ensuring we remain well positioned to support our customers' evolving needs and deliver long-term sustainable growth.

As Technical Director, Alkis brings extensive engineering and delivery experience, strengthening our ability to provide innovative, high-quality solutions across the critical infrastructure sectors we serve.

As Sales Director, Aaron contributes significant commercial and business development expertise, helping to drive strategic growth, strengthen customer partnerships and expand our market presence.

Data Centre Dynamics (DCD) Connect is coming up next week in London, and we’ll have some of the Firstco team there!

It’ll be a great opportunity to meet and discuss how technologies such as DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) are helping operators improve visibility, efficiency, and control in increasingly complex data centre environments.

Taking place on 16-17 September at the Business Design Centre, the event brings together professionals from across the data centre industry to discuss the latest developments in AI infrastructure, power, sustainability and digital infrastructure.
