No rest for the wicked!

Leaking 54mm end feed fitting on the boosted cold water supply, with no isolation valves present to isolate the supply before the leak.

We had no choice but to shut down the supply for the development and drain down each floor. Once the drain down was complete, we then removed both 54mm end feed fittings and replaced them with 54mm Xpress fittings.

Supply was then reinstated within a few hours after shut down.

The old MHSboiler constantly failing. You name it, this HIU had it! It was time to put this boiler to rest.

Another successful Heat Interface Unit (HIU) replacement completed.

The old mhsboiler was in a very bad state and beyond its retirement age. Our Client requested for it to be replaced, so we decommissioned the existing mhsboiler HIU and installed a new Intatec Hiper 2 Twin Plate Heat Interface Unit. Which is now providing phenomenal results with a return temperature as low as 11C, whilst providing 52C at the kitchen tap within 60seconds 👏🏾.
