Why choose a full facade contractor?

When working on facades, attention to detail where different elements meet is key to best performance and aesthetics.

The above video shows how our wide margin door design allowed to accommodate an insulated reveal with a proprietary APU frame seal bead. Eliminating cold bridging and leaving a clean, watertight and neat looking seal.

Other interface details to consider;

How much does external wall insulation cost?

We are often asked how much does external wall insulation cost, whilst every project is unique we work ok the below basis.

Our prices start from £105 per m2 including VAT, this includes;
-A 90mm EPS graphite polystyrene insulation.
-Fixed via dot and dab to level out walls, and mechanically for additional strength.
-3 method sealing at all abutments for product longevity (compriband tape, APU beads and silicone sealant.
-flexible basecoat with Reinforcing mesh
-Tinted Silicone Top coat
-Extension of existing roof verges and window cills in powder coated aluminium to cover the new insulation (For this reason we include windows and doors in the meterage)
-A coat of bitumen paint below DPC level.
-All associated skips and access equipment

This typically adds up to;

Front and back terraces: £5.5k to 7.5k
End terrace or semi detached: £8k to £12k
Detached house: £12k upwards

Some items that may increase the cost are;
-Increasing the insulation thickness or using alternative insulation materials (wood fibre or mineral wool for example)
-Installing high density insulation and a bitumen render system below DPC level
-Difficult access issues.
-Extending roofs instead of using verge trims
-Applying additional coatings (self cleaning, anti graffiti ect)
-Architectural detailing (Stone cills, Quoins, Ashlar Jointing, Window Bands Ect)

We recommend any quote you considered properly addresses the above.

We supply systems appropriate for all situations, and can clearly explain the benefits of each, as well as the cost implications. Some manufacturers we work with include Sto, Licata, Whetherby, EWI Pro, Parex and Weber. All of our products come with a manufacturers warranty.
