Did you know that livestock emissions account for 14.5% of global greenhouse gases? UC Davis researchers are changing the game. Their latest study found that feeding grazing beef cattle a seaweed supplement slashes their methane emissions by nearly 40%—a huge win for sustainable agriculture and climate action! 🌿

This innovative approach highlights the untapped potential of seaweed to make farming more climate-friendly while supporting the global demand for meat. A big shoutout to UC Davis and the study’s senior author, Professor Ermias Kebreab, for leading the charge in finding scalable solutions for grazing cattle emissions.
