Identity attacks are no longer isolated attempts by individual fraudsters.

They are becoming organized, repeatable, and scalable.

Threat actors are operating with shared tooling, defined processes, and specialist roles. Lower technical barriers are also bringing more attackers into the market.

For organizations, this changes the risk profile.

A small weakness in digital identity verification can now be tested, refined, and exploited at volume. The impact is no longer limited to fraud operations. It reaches customer trust, revenue protection, regulatory exposure, and brand confidence.

In our on-demand threat intelligence briefing, iProov examines the industrialization of identity attacks and what security, fraud, and digital identity teams should prepare for in 2026.

This week: are your identity defenses ready for industrialized deception?

Fraudsters are using AI, automation, synthetic identities, and repeatable attack methods to scale deception faster than many organizations can defend against it.

That is why resilience matters.

Join iProov and Verizon Business for a timely discussion on managing modern incident response against today’s identity threats — from high-fidelity deepfakes to injection attacks and crime-as-a-service operations.

Attend to learn:
• What modern identity fraud looks like in 2026
• Why basic remote identity systems are being bypassed
• Where security theater ends and measurable resilience begins
• How data, standards, and technology can strengthen digital trust

Your video calls may not be as secure as you think.

This week, as our founder and CEO, Andrew Bud, joins the UK Government Trade Mission, GTLA in Los Angeles, we’re announcing iProov Verified Meetings: a new solution that’s part of the iProov Workforce Solution Suite and authenticates the identity of video call participants in real time, without disrupting the call.

Blair McDougall, UK Minister for Economic Transformation and part of GTLA, recognised iProov as an example of British ingenuity actively tackling the global challenge of AI-driven fraud.

The need is clear:
🔴 320 Western companies infiltrated by the North Korean remote worker scheme
🔴 $25.6 million authorised by a finance worker on a deepfaked video call
🔴 $2 billion in crypto stolen by North Koreans, often using deepfake-enabled fraud

Video conferencing now underpins high-stakes interactions across hiring, KYC, financial approvals, account recovery, and government-to-citizen services. But it has also become an unguarded entry point for attackers.

Generative AI can produce deepfakes that are increasingly difficult to detect with the human eye. Virtual cameras can then pipe them directly into the platforms organisations rely on every day.

Most enterprise identity strategies are built on one critical assumption:
The person behind the credential is real.

AI-driven impersonation is putting that assumption under pressure.

Deepfakes are now being used to exploit high-risk identity workflows, including remote onboarding, help desk verification, and account recovery.

Join our webinar to learn where traditional identity controls fall short, how deepfake-enabled attacks are targeting enterprise workflows, and how organizations can verify genuine users without replacing their IAM stack.

Deepfakes. Synthetic identities. Injection attacks. Crime-as-a-service.

The identity threat landscape is evolving fast, and traditional defenses are struggling to keep up.

In our upcoming webinar with Verizon Business, we’ll examine how fraud has become industrialized, and what organizations can do to move beyond security theater toward true identity resilience.

The session will include insights into modern attack trends, including a reported 1,151% surge in iOS injection attacks, and the growing use of GenAI-driven deepfakes capable of bypassing basic remote identity systems.

Identity threats are evolving faster than many organizations’ security assumptions.

The 2026 iProov Threat Intelligence Report outlines a shift from static spoofing techniques toward a more industrialized threat model characterized by automated injection, synthetic media insertion, scalable infrastructure, and cross-region knowledge sharing.

This matters because many control environments were built to detect known fraud patterns, not synthetic presence introduced into live workflows.

The result is an increasing gap between the protection organizations believe they have and the attack conditions they now face.

For enterprise identity, fraud, and security teams, that gap has direct implications for assurance, agility, and resilience.
