We're into our second week of our Explore programme having taken our 8 participants on a cooking and baking journey with Relish & Grace , a weekly wellbeing check in with Susie from Take 7 Simple Steps a workshop on Personal Values with Susannah from Social Shrub (www.thesocialdrinkingcompany.com): "𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙪𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢" and an afternoon training session with Timi on Barista Skills.

Recently, at a beautiful home in Barnes, we created an unusual transformation on the top floor landing. We converted two bedrooms into a fully functional and professional Pilates studio.

We achieved this by removing the adjoining wall and separate doors and then fitting a new bespoke double door with a patterned glass entrance. Our bespoke solution also included solid timber flooring, speakers, a mirrored wall and new LED lighting.

Being a Pilates Instructor whose kids are slowly spending less time at home, our client saw that she had a choice. Either to let the home feel like an empty nest or to follow her passion and utilise this space in an inspiring new way.

At one point, when she asked me to source a mirror that made you look thinner, we both had to laugh. “We’re good,” I said, “but we’re not magicians!”
