From Beyoncé to Chris Brown in 24 Hours 🎤➡️🎤

This summer, we delivered the largest and most complex stage transition in the UK this year at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

⏱️ The challenge?
Reconfigure the stage between Beyoncé and Chris Brown with just 24 hours to deliver. The Beyoncé stage had to be shifted 4.5 metres back, which meant dismantling and rebuilding the roof, towers and deck - with no margin for error.

💡 The solution:
Working with Ainscough Crane Hire, we executed a UK-first four-crane synchronised lift to move the fully built Beyoncé stage. Once relocated, our team dismantled the roof system, stripped out the deck and towers, rebuilt the structure in its new position, and integrated everything back onto the stage deck ready for Chris Brown’s load-in.

The results:
✅ First ever use of a four-crane lift to reposition a stadium stage roof in the UK
✅ Full transition completed in under 24 hours
✅ The biggest stage transition in the UK in 2025
✅ Delivered seamlessly - both headline shows went ahead as planned

This project proved ES Global’s ability to deliver innovative engineering solutions at speed and scale, pushing the boundaries of live event production. A big thank you to everyone who made this transition possible.

Another brilliant year at Forwards - Bristol 🎶
We were proud to deliver both festival stages for 2025, the East Stage with our 16m LT system and the West Stage with our 20m LT system.

This marks our third year supporting Forwards, and what a weekend it was, topped off with incredible headline sets from Barry Can’t Swim and Jorja Smith.

On 6 July 2025, Villa Park played host to Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne: Back to the Beginning – a memorable and emotional farewell to one of the most influential bands in rock history.

With a powerhouse lineup featuring Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Tool, Pantera and many more, thousands of fans came together in Birmingham to celebrate the legacy of Black Sabbath – with millions more tuning in via livestream.

The concert also raised an incredible £140 million for charity, with funds going to Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Charity, and Acorns Children's Hospice.

We had the privilege of providing the staging for this landmark event. A special night, and one we won’t forget.

On 13 July 1985, the world came together for Live Aid, one of the most iconic music events in history, and 40 years later, we're still proud to have played our part.

Trading then as Edwin Shirley's, we provided the stage infrastructure for the original Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium. A defining moment for music and global activism, and for everyone behind the scenes who helped make it happen.

To our teams past and present: thank you. And to the legacy of Live Aid, here's to the power of live events to inspire global change. 🌎
