Full job description
* Responsible for delivering food that is not only delicious and cooked to the specifications required but that is safe and fresh as well.
* Liaise with superiors to discuss day to day operational requirement.
* Prepare all types of manakish and related products as per the instructions of superior and ensure smooth supply of products.
* Ensure the correct storage of goods and that stock rotation procedures are maintained.
* Coordinate with superiors on wastage control measures.
* Ensure adequate operating knowledge of various tools and equipment used.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety guidelines.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
Pastry Chef Requirements:
* High school diploma.
* Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field.
* 3 or more years’ experience working within the food industry as a Pastry Chef, or relevant role.
* Working knowledge of Indian pastry techniques and the pastry-making process.
* Keen attention to detail.
* In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
* Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary.
* Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 60,000 Dinar to 110,000 Dinar per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Alger, Borj El Bahri: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
* Pastry: 3 years (Required)
