European Microwave Week Europe's Premier Microwave, RF, Wireless and Radar Event taking place in 2026 in London, the UK

European Microwave Week 2025 will bring the annual series of highly successful microwave events to Utrecht. The European Microwave Week - where industry meets academia - is a six-day event that includes three innovative conferences, three forums and an exciting trade and technology exhibition with leading players from around the world. EuMW2025 provides access to the very latest products, research and initiatives in the microwave sector. It also provides you with the opportunity to talk face-to-face with the people driving the future of microwave technology. The 28th European Microwave Week combines:
• The European Microwave Conference (EuMC)
• The European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC)
• The European Radar Conference (EuRAD)
PLUS:
• Workshops, Short Courses and Special Sessions
• The Defence, Security and Space Forum
• The Automotive Forum
• The 6G Forum
• Student Activities
• The European Microwave Exhibition as the leading International Trade Show

Choose from three separate but complementary conferences. Spanning the length of the week, starting from 21st September 2025, the conferences and workshops are scheduled as follows:

• European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC) 22 - 23 September 2025
• European Microwave Conference (EuMC) 23 - 25 September 2025
• European Radar Conference (EuRAD) 24 – 26 September 2025
• Plus Workshops and Short Courses (from 21 September 2025)

The conferences encompass a wide range of subject areas including:
• Microwave, Millimetre-wave and Submillimetre-wave Systems
• Antennas and Propagation
• Wireless Technologies
• Telecommunication (RF, Microwave and Optical)
• ICs, Semiconductor Materials and Packaging
• Radar Architectures, Systems and Subsystems
• Sensors and Remote Systems
• Test and Measurement

Delegates can register for one, two or all three of the conferences. Registration at one conference does not allow any access to other conference sessions. Those who wish to register for two or more conferences will receive a discount on these registrations. EXHIBITION HOURS

All registered delegates as well as registered exhibition visitors will have full access to the exhibition area. The exhibition opening hours are:
• Tuesday 23rf September 2025 9.30-18.00 (followed by the Welcome Reception)
• Wednesday 24th September 2025 9.30-17.30
• Thursday 25th September 2025 9.30-16.30

A full day of automotive radar, followed by an evening above London 📸 These photos take us back to the Automotive Forum at : the talks, the poster pitches, and the chance to pick up a discussion again over coffee, lunch or dinner.

By the time we gathered at Bōkan, the formal programme was finished, but there was still plenty to talk about. Sharing a meal overlooking London was a lovely way to round off the day together.

Thank you to our speakers, poster presenters and chairs for giving us so much to discuss, and to everyone who stayed for the evening. We’re happy to have these moments to look back on.

From the materials that go into a radar sensor to the car it ends up in, the Automotive Forum brings people working along that chain into the same room.

Looking back at in London, Benjamin Nuß and Thomas Zwick reflect on a forum that has been bringing this community together since 2019. Experienced specialists and younger engineers, returning colleagues and first-time participants: each brings a different perspective on the challenges of automotive radar.

Thank you to everyone who brought their questions and experience to this year’s discussions on chip design, radar testing, antennas and imaging radars and kept the conversations going over dinner.

The drone age, resilient RF electronics, and the technologies behind modern radar systems: the Defence Forum at had plenty to get people talking.

The programme brought together industry, academia and funding bodies, with startup pitches alongside talks on phased arrays, European GaN capabilities and microwave architectures for defence. The panel “The Drone Age: How Big is the Role of Microwaves?” focused the discussion on a challenge drawing on expertise across the community.

And after the presentations, there was an evening aboard the Sunborn yacht—time to pick up a conversation, introduce yourself to someone new and get to know the people behind the work.

London brought our microwave community together, and last week’s Defence Forum put a shared challenge at the centre of the conversation: how our work can respond to changing defence needs.

Radar, electronic warfare and secure communications draw on expertise from across our field. The forum gave people working on these technologies a place to hear different perspectives and meet colleagues tackling related challenges.

⚙️ To our student volunteers: you were once again the people who kept moving.

From helping sessions run smoothly to welcoming delegates, answering questions and being there wherever an extra pair of hands was needed, you brought energy, patience and a lot of smiles to a very busy week 💚

A huge thank you to every one of you for being such an important part of EuMW2026.

From the battlefield to geostationary orbit, radar was covering a lot of ground at yesterday’s Opening.

The session brought together a welcome from Dr David Greig of Leonardo and keynote talks from André Hanewinkel of HENSOLDT and Marco Martorella of the University of Birmingham, spanning future defence radar and space domain awareness.

Now EuRAD is in full swing at , adding its own perspective, people and conversations to the week.

The future of the microwave community starts with bringing people into it 💚

At , students are not just here to listen. They are asking questions, presenting their work, meeting experts and companies, joining schools and competitions, making friends, and finding their own place in the community.

And EuMW is designed to give students plenty of ways to do exactly that, from dedicated student and PhD schools and competitions to career activities, conference sessions, networking and opportunities to meet people from across academia and industry.

A huge thank you to all our student volunteers in London this week. You help make EuMW happen, but even more importantly, we hope EuMW gives something back to you, too.

Our message to every student here? Be curious. Ask questions. Introduce yourself. Be brave enough to be wrong. And make friends. You might be surprised where those conversations can take you.

A big thank you to everyone who presented, chaired sessions, asked questions, exchanged ideas in the corridors and helped make this year’s EuMIC such a lively part of European Microwave Week.

The conference may be over, but the conversations definitely are not.

At , 1 + 1 = 3. That is really what this week feels like: different communities, different topics and different formats coming together and creating something bigger than any one of them on its own.

Today, continues, is in full swing, and the Exhibition is still buzzing. On top of that, we have the 6G Forum, the Space Forum, and the panel “Green Electronics: from Semiconductor Supply Chain to Low-Waste End-of-Life” bringing even more perspectives into the mix.

Microwaves, radar, 6G, space, sustainability, research, industry. All in one place, with plenty of conversations happening in between.

That is the real strength of European Microwave Week: the programme matters, but so do the people you meet around it.
