The Arriva Graduate Programme is our 18-month development programme for recently graduated people. Our programme is divided into 3 streams:
- Operations
- Engineering
- Functional areas

Our graduates can expect to be given significant responsibility early on in their careers and will find themselves doing placements in a number of different areas of the business to obtain a broad perspective of A

rriva. During the Programme, our graduates will attend international graduate events and training modules, work on assignments with fellow graduates, and have the opportunity to meet Arriva’s senior managers. They will receive coaching, career support and have a personal mentor who will track their development. They will also become part of our GraduateClub, an international network of Arriva Graduates. Last week we organised the Graduate Induction Day to welcome our 2017 Cohort.

At the event we provided plenty of useful information and motivation for a successful start to the programme. Members of our Executive Committee gave the graduates a great introduction to Arriva which drew upon their personal experiences. Some of our ex-graduates also came to give them advice, answer questions and talk to them about life since leaving the programme and how it benefited them.

We closed the event with a dinner which brought 2016 and 2017 graduates together, as well as many senior managers, and some ex-graduates who came to meet them.

It was a fantastic day and we hope it has given the graduates a great start within Arriva! We are already looking forward to the next event!
