Here’s two projects completed this week ⚒️

# cut out and repoint on this gable end in Llandaff north/cardiff,3 meters high. NHL 3.5 red mix. What an absolute lovely lady. Kept me in bacon rolls and coffee, an absolute pleasure!

# rebuilt a little section of this stone wall for another lovely lady, it’s been a pleasure this week ⚒️

Another stone firm attempted a restoration. I had to cut the whole building again,One of the worst jobs Ive seen in a long time. I feel sorry for the customer, what a lovely man ⚒️

Another full restoration completed last week in Cathays area of Cardiff. The customer made a great choice opting for a NHL 2 lime pointing on the stone work. I used 2 bags of bathstone premix on this property. A massive transformation ⚒️ starting at 7am every morning is paying of! It’s another busy year.

Here’s my latest project in Plymouth. Started it on the weekend and finally finished today after a lot of 13 hour days. Absolutely knackered. A nice weekend of for once. Well deserved ⚒️

This is what happens when you use cement to point with! The moisture can’t pe*****te the cement so it comes through the stone and destroys it. One of the worst so called pointing Ive seen. Absolute cowboys. To anyone looking at getting your property repointed, please make sure they are using LIME.

My latest projects from the past two weeks. All pointing has been done in NHL 2 lime to allow the bricks/stone to breathe and not trap the moisture. Cement is for building NOT pointing! ⚒️

A full bathstone restoration completed this morning for a lovely couple in the Heath area of Cardiff. Resealed all the windows yesterday with the final wash down this morning ⚒️ a fresh start Monday on a huge job opposite Cardiff museum.
