Exploration momentum continues in Sweden 🇸🇪

Drilling consents have been submitted for the Finnsbo copper-gold-rare earths project, with mobilisation planned for the coming weeks.

The programme will test anomalies identified through prior geophysical work, targeting high-grade gold, copper and rare earths.

We are delighted to confirm that the auction of our second limited edition 1oz, 24 carat gold coin, produced exclusively from Alba's production at the Clogau-St David's Gold Mine in Wales, has now commenced.

Background
Once the UK’s richest gold mine, Clogau-St David's was thought to be exhausted in the 1990s. However, after acquiring the exploration rights in 2018, Alba Mineral Resources plc embarked on an ambitious exploration and rehabilitation programme. These efforts have led to this first production of gold from Clogau-St David's for over 25 years.

Royal Gold
Welsh gold has long been prized for its rarity, history, and Royal connection. Since 1923, wedding bands made from Clogau gold have been worn by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret, Princess Anne, and Diana, Princess of Wales. With no new production in decades, the supply of this legendary gold has remained extraordinarily limited - until now.

The Limited Edition Coins (or Medallions)
Each 24-carat, 1oz gold round is a masterpiece of British craftsmanship. The front features a striking Welsh dragon atop Cadair Idris, one of the most famous landmarks in Snowdonia. The reverse pays homage to the Mine’s history, depicting miners outside the Tyn-y-Cornel adit in the early 1900s.

No more than 10 coins will be produced in this limited edition "Tyn-y-Cornel" series.

The auction, which will close at 5pm BST on Wednesday 16 April, includes a Buy it Now price of GBP 27,500.
