Taking you on a site walkthrough. 🏠

Today we’re at our Muswell Hill project — and there’s always something to discover when you pull back the layers.

Hidden underneath the floor covering? Beautiful original pine floorboards. The client fell in love with them instantly and has chosen a stunning white finish to bring them back to life.

The large glass window is arriving early next week and we cannot wait to see the light it brings into this space. Once the skimming is done, the floors get finished and then — the kitchen begins. 👀

From forgotten to family home. 🏡

This double-front terrace had been neglected for years — split into two flats, unloved and full of untapped potential.

We saw what it could become.

The basement was transformed from a bare shell into a self-contained guest suite complete with home gym, utility room and cloakroom. A fixed roof light was installed during the roof replacement, flooding the formerly dark stairwell with natural light and breathing life into the heart of the home.

In August 2021 a family of four finally moved in.

This is exactly what we do. 🧡

The front garden at St John's Wood is complete — and she looks beautiful.

From a massive hole in the ground to this. Every paver laid, the planting done, the trellis up and the whole space ready to be enjoyed.

This Grade II listed Georgian property was transformed across two carefully considered phases — and this kitchen sits right at the heart of it.

The rear extension was designed to flood the space with natural light, with two circular roof lights drawing daylight into the centre of the home. Below ground, the basement became a world of its own — a utility room, steam shower room and media room, all built with the same level of care and intention.

And our favourite detail? A tiny powder room tucked under the stairs — bespoke wallpaper, marble tiles and a retro sink. Proof that luxury lives in the smallest spaces too. 🧡

The end is in sight. 🌿

St John’s Wood is almost there.

Beautiful pavers down, trellis going up along the front wall for a little privacy and plenty of room for the plants to climb through. The gardener is back Monday to plant up the garden and it’s going to look stunning.

Still to come — a little decking around the balcony and a green roof that we cannot wait to see finished.

But the hoarding is coming down, the site is being cleared and after everything that’s gone into this project — from that enormous attenuation tank to every last paver — we are nearly done.

The front garden is taking shape

With the attenuation tank in and the hard work underground done — the team at St John’s Wood are now working their magic above ground.

Brickwork, driveway, the finishing touches that tie the whole thing together.
