50 Degrees North is an award-winning RIBA Chartered practice based in Richmond. Our designs are the outcome of this conversation.

We have a passion for residential architecture and love to create beautiful homes which function magnificently. 50 Degrees North is an award winning practice specialising in designing

We are based in London and

have 8 years experience and have worked on almost 1000 projects. We have developed an accessible, client friendly approach to engaging an architect. Be that full service (from initial designs right through to build to snagging) or design through to planning / handover to client / their desired build team. We are a flexible and approachable practice which encourages a collaborative approach between client and architect. The perfect mix of client desire, married with architectural know how. Our design process had been finely honed in response to client needs. We provide a full architectural service broken down into 5 key ‘packs’. Clients are able to choose the level of input or the number of ‘packs’ they require.

The third member of our exciting team, Meryem is an enthusiastic and clever designer using a combination of CAD and AI on our clients projects. She is working alongside Leigh and Ana and our wonderful client base to remodel and renovate houses all over west london.

Introducing Ana Meneses, architect at 50° North. Ana has vast experience in residential architecture and a very wide range of skills. She has a passion for materials and interior architecture as well as the external shape and form of our projects. Working with Leigh and Meryem, Ana is working with our brilliant clients on a range of projects for 2026 with some amazing work on site and the drawing board. We like the look of this new product from Mr. Resistor in Wandsworth. An antiglare down lighter that is also fire resistant. A very neat solution available in black and white that we’d like to specify on our projects.
