We’re delighted to have been appointed to refurbish Hanover House, a single storey building on Cross Lanes in Guildford. It’s a great project to add to our 20th year, and the team is looking forward to getting started.

Over 12 weeks we’ll bring the building up to a CAT A+ standard. Inside, we’re stripping out the previous tenant’s fit out, installing a new VRF ventilation system, refurbishing the suspended ceilings with new LED lighting and redecorating throughout. Outside, the timber windows are being refurbished, and the fascias, soffits, metal features and car park are being repaired and cleaned.

We’ll share progress as the works move along.

Twenty years ago, BSPS was just getting started. Last week we filled the RAC with the people who have been part of the journey since.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Looking round the room at so many familiar faces was a proper reminder of how far we’ve come, and who got us here.

It was a brilliant night, and we’re so grateful to everyone who made it special.

Here’s to the next twenty.

2026 marks BSPS’s 20th anniversary, and over the coming months we’ll be looking back at some of the projects that have meant the most to us.

Tower Bridge is one we’ll never forget!

Working on one of London’s most recognisable landmarks comes with a unique set of challenges. The bridge continues to lift for river traffic, carries thousands of vehicles every day, and remains open to the public throughout. Every stage of the project had to be carefully planned and delivered with precision.

BSPS carried out decoration, stone repairs, cleaning and restoration works, much of which took place during night shifts while the bridge remained fully operational.

The project was completed with zero harm, no disruption to the bridge’s operations, and the Grade I listed structure was treated with the care and respect it deserves.

Historic buildings require specialist knowledge, careful planning and attention to detail. It’s a type of work we’re proud to have delivered for the past 20 years, helping to preserve some of London’s most important buildings.

🏗️ Project Complete – Crofton House

BSPS recently completed the full refurbishment of a top-floor flat at Crofton House.

Located on the highest floor of the building, the project presented unique logistical challenges, with all materials and waste needing to be transported by hand via the stairwell.

The works included a new insulated flat roof, complete refurbishment of the kitchen, bathroom and shower room, engineered timber flooring throughout, tiling to wet areas, secondary glazing, built-in wardrobes, upgraded doors, and a full redecoration.

Mechanical and electrical upgrades included new lighting, electric wall heaters, and new sanitaryware throughout.

The finished flat has been delivered to a high residential standard, reflecting a considered approach to detail and quality across all elements of the works.

Scaffolding coming down and the building is finally revealing itself.

After months behind the screens, we’re now stripping back the scaffold on this 18th century Mayfair corner property, and the transformation is something we’re genuinely proud of. What was once concealed is now starting to speak for itself! Clean lines, sharp detailing, and craftsmanship that respects the building’s history.

Every element you now see has been carefully considered, from the reinstated lime render and repaired masonry, through to the restored architectural features that define this façade. The result is not just a visual upgrade, but a building that is structurally sound, breathable, and built to perform for decades to come.

We’ll be sharing full elevation shots shortly as the last sections come down but for now, a first look at the reveal.
