f building. We primarily work with architects, designers, contractors and facade engineers to provide a range of flat and formed panels or monolithic pre-cast pieces. Based in London, our team provide a sample and literature service as well as providing quotes, drawing take-offs, optimisations and fixing solutions for internal and external cladding. Pura Facades supplied and fabricated more than 3,000 individual öko skin GRC façade panels for Musgrove Park Hospital.
Manufactured in Germany by Rieder, the GRC planks were delivered to Pura Facades' fabrication facility in Aston, Birmingham. Here, each panel was carefully fabricated and prepared off-site before being organised and palletised, operating a just-in-time delivery schedule. Panels were dispatched to site in precise installation sequences, reducing storage requirements, improving site efficiency, and supporting a streamlined installation process.

VBrick's flat back rail system allows for cavity barriers to expand to a flat surface which is compliant with fire regulations.
The grooved metal backing plate that the slips fit into provides a flat surface for the mortar to be applied against, avoiding any mortar into the rear ventilation area.

A defining feature of the building is its striking wave-inspired façade, developed to create a distinctive identity for the new healthcare facility. The architectural concept was brought to life through the use of 3,000 Rieder öko skin Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) panels, installed in a complex arrangement of varying colours, sizes, and finishes.

The VBrick facade systems are comprised of genuine and extruded brick and stone slips, specially designed to fix mechanically to an extruded 3 course anodised aluminium backing section. These extruded sections are installed in horizontal rows onto the backing structure and the brick slips are intserted into place.
