Albert Street – Construction Progress Update

Great progress continues on site at Albert Street, with several key activities now well underway across the development.

First fix electrical and mechanical installations are progressing steadily throughout the building, helping prepare the internal spaces for the next stages of fit-out works.

Drylining first fix works are also ongoing, with partitions and internal wall systems taking shape and transforming the structure into defined residential and communal spaces.

We are pleased to see landscaping works now commencing on site, marking another important milestone as external areas begin to come to life and the wider vision for the development starts to take shape.

Window installation works continue across the project, significantly improving the building’s external appearance while helping move the development closer towards becoming fully weather-tight.

Great progress continues on our Hampstead Way project as we move confidently into the final stages of the build. It’s been fantastic to see everything come together, with all the key elements now taking shape and the vision becoming a reality. As we approach completion, attention is turning to the finer details that really elevate the overall finish.

We’re excited to now begin work on the new driveway, an important feature that will enhance both the look and functionality of the property. This phase will tie the entire project together, creating a seamless and high-quality finish from the ground up.

There’s still a little more to do, but we’re on the home stretch now. Looking forward to sharing the final results very soon—this is a transformation we’re really proud of

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of our project at Elsworthy Terrace.
From upgraded electrical systems and energy-efficient LED lighting to full plumbing installation, bespoke joinery, premium finishes, and a beautifully tiled patio, every detail was delivered with precision and care.

This transformation reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

We continue to make strong progress at the Albert street, with key structural, safety, and finishing works advancing across multiple levels of the building.

Our focus remains on quality, compliance, and delivering long-lasting results at every stage of construction.

Recent milestones achieved include:

The basement floor installation has been completed with full waterproof insulation, supported by a sandpit drainage base designed to effectively manage groundwater.

Construction of the front slab entrance at the lift core has been completed, with ongoing works progressing on the ground floor accessibility ramp.
Intumescent paint has been applied to all new ceilings across the ground and first floors, enhancing fire resistance and protecting the building’s structural integrity.

Timber windows have been installed on the first floor, overlooking the street and forming the building’s front elevation.
Tiling works on the first floor are nearing completion, with approximately 95% completed.

Installation of tiling has commenced on the second floor and roof, marking the next phase of internal finishes.

The roof membrane and single plywood layer have been completed, with remaining balcony coping stones to be installed to finalise the exterior detailing.

The access hatch and ladder to the balcony have been fully installed, providing safe and compliant access.

As the project continues to take shape, we are proud of the consistent progress being achieved by our team through collaboration, attention to detail, and high construction standards. We look forward to sharing further updates as we move closer to completion.

Great progress on-site as our team continues to progress and push forward at our latest project in Hampstead Heath, striving for excellence throughout the build.

First fix electrical work is nearing completion, with significant progress also being made on the plumbing and mechanical installations.

Original ceilings are undergoing refurbishment to prepare the space for the installation of designated spotlights.

Tiling has begun across the ensuites, bringing the interior one step closer to completion.

Second fix underway for the installation of boilers and the remaining electrical work required for the bathroom plumbing.

Plastering works are ongoing throughout the property, regenerating and refining the interior spaces.

As we continue to advance this project, the team consistently demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding coordination. A true credit to their hard work and dedication

• Zinc cladding installations to Levels 1 and 3, enhancing the building’s façade with a durable, modern finish.
• New roof coverings installed to Level 2 areas, improving weatherproofing and overall building performance.
• Structural works for the ground floor disabled access ramp, supporting accessibility and inclusive design.
• Mansafe system installations, ensuring ongoing roof safety for future maintenance.
• Brick slip cladding finishing works, adding the final touches to the external elevations.

Alrimo Construction is currently in the demolition phase, a crucial step that allows us to prepare the site for the next stage of development. Our team is working with care and precision to ensure that this stage is completed safely and efficiently.

Our team has now entered the finishing stage of this residential project — where every detail brings the transformation to life.

Recent progress includes:

Final plaster and putty touch-ups for smooth, refined surfaces
Application of primer and top coats of paint for durability and a premium finish
Installation of taps, mixers, WCs, basins, water heaters, and sanitary-ware for efficient systems
Laying of tiles and wooden flooring, combining practicality with aesthetic appeal
Fitting of skirting, cabinetry, wardrobes, and doors to add definition and character

Project Update: Albert Street

Our teams are making good headway across multiple levels of the building:

Up on the third-floor mansard, preparations are well underway for the new concrete parapet. The structure is currently being set out and formed, with a concrete pour scheduled in the coming days.
Roof works on both the first and second floors are moving along steadily. We’ve started stripping off the old asphalt and screed, making way for the new waterproofing system to be installed.
The existing parapet capping is being removed to allow for structural upgrades and new finishes.
Meanwhile, our bricklayers have completed three courses of new brickwork on the plant room wall at second-floor level, reinforcing and tidying the structure.
Additional repairs to the old parapet are ongoing to bring everything in line with the new specification.
