An amazing transformation with this now beautiful back garden.
Its gone from dangerous, gloomy, unusable garden with rotting decking to now, a bright, spacious area which can now be used to their hearts content.
Being a terraced house with narrow doors and a windy path through the house. Everything.. and I mean EVERYRHING! Was transported through the house via Gorrila tubs. But that is no issue at all, all I say is challenge accepted 💪🏽.
The lower area was extending into the higher tiered section by 2 meters. Allowing a bigger area of patio, making the garden more usable and convenient for friendly gatherings.
Retaining walls are built out of beautiful Islington Rustica Yellow Smeed Dean Facing Bricks (Which have now discontinued), with weepholes every 600mm and 100mm thick Shingle behind to allow a perfect drainage system and irradiated any hydrostatic pressure.
The Patio finish is Autumn Brown Indian Sandstone 900x600mm, laid on 100mm subbase of Primary Type 1 Aggregate. 40mm of sharp sand and cement bed with a neat cement slurry on the back of each slab.
The decorative chippings are a Cotswold decorative chipping. Which really completes and brightens up the whole garden.
Also, each fence panel was replaced with Green Lap Panels from to finish it off.
This was a great job through and through, with an amazing customer who kept me watered with tea throughout. What more could I need!
