Propump Engineering has served the industry from 1991 starting in Bromley Kent then moving to Dartford and now Crayford just outside of central London. We supply foamed concrete to infill voids ranging from just a few cubic metres to fill a drain to many thousands of cubic metres for stone mines and underground voids. The material can be manufactured with densities from 300kg/m3 to 1700kg/m3 which

enables strengths from 1-15Mpa. Our business is finding solutions to filling voids, this may require low density material to reduce the load on a structure such as a bridge or suspended floor. We also produce materials which have been pumped over 1000m to fill unstable mines that were in a state of disrepair. Our systems are design and built by Propump to facilitate the exacting requirements we demand. Typically materials are processed into a foamed concrete at site with volumes upwards of 300m3/day being easily achieved through just one pump system. We will design the mix to satisfy the specification, supply the materials, equipment and workforce to undertake the work and provide test results and QC records on the completion of the works. We cover the whole of the UK and have worked in Germany, France, Sweden, Sri Lanka.

Foam concrete is an incredibly useful material used to produce large volumes of relatively low strength void filling material; it can easily be pumped long distances and will fill most cavities.

All of the areas requiring foam concrete infill first required plastic sheet membrane to “tank” the volume. Then, propump pumped and placed material into areas at a depth of 500mm. once set, to finish the road, type 1 makeup and the usual preparations could be made to place the final road surface. Approx Project volume 15000m3 plus.
