There are around 4,000 graduate and student members in the London Region, more than half of our regional membership. ICE London’s Graduates and Students (G&S) Committee is made up of keen volunteers from this group of 4,000 members. We organise events, courses, competitions and socials, helping members develop their careers, providing support and allowing like-minded people to meet and socialise.
The committee aims to help all G&S members - and in doing so, ourselves - to be better engineers. If you are a graduate or student member with a postal address within the area governed by the Greater London Authority, then you are encouraged to join the ICE London G&S Committee. It’s only by becoming an active member that you’ll realise the benefits of being a member of the institution. Our activities fit broadly within three strands:
Membership - which focuses on bringing new members into the institution, helping them discover the benefits of joining and providing opportunities for members to meet each other;
Knowledge - providing training opportunities for our members; and Public Voice - keeping everyone inside and beyond the institution informed of our activities.
