designed and installed a bespoke audio system in 2022 in the beautifully renovated Belvedere restaurant in Holland Park London.

The system is zoned for precise control of volume in every area. Local inputs allow DJ’s and band performances in multiple locations for Parties, corporate events and celebrations.

Where Byron met his lover, Sheridan enjoyed one too many and The Queen Consort’s mother threw a ball as ‘Debutante of the Year’.
Built between 1638 and 1640, originally part of the stables and coach house serving Holland House and Park, a 500-acre estate inherited by Henry Rich, 1st Earl of Holland.
Into the next century – to 1939 – and Belvedere welcomed royalty. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth attended a lavish ball for ‘Debutante of the Year’ Rosalind Cubitt (mother to Camilla, the Queen Consort). The party attracted over one thousand guests – playwright Noël Coward among them – and was considered the last great soiree at the house before it was largely destroyed by bombing during the Blitz.

LSi Rewind Live - 1985 And All That...
11:30am - 12:15pm in the LSi Theatre

Rewind to the year of LSI's birth: 1985 was quite a year in all aspects of tech. Big screen made its mark with Jumbotron, lighting welcomed memory desks and, in the same era, under Tony's ownership and direction, Turbosound launched the TMS-3, which would become the world’s largest-selling modular full range PA cabinet - an achievement recognised by the Queens Award for Export.

In the theatre world the arrival of Les Misérables extended the ‘mega-musical’ trend, and such theatrical largesse extended to the entrepreneur-led ‘superdisco’, with lasers and giant mechanical rigs on chain winches appearing everywhere. Oh, and in 1985 there was also the small matter of Live Aid which took satellite broadcasting to a new level.
